Let me clarify. While it's existence can be proven through pictures online, it is not considered "official" enough to confirm its existence through means such as Wikipedia and even most subreddits that I've tried posting this too. That is what I meant when I said it can't be proven with an official source. It is an unfortunate loop.

Benzodiazepines have a nonlinear respiratory suppression curve. It plateaus. This means that for many people (not all) it's exceptionally difficult to cause terminal respiratory suppression with benzos alone. Everyone's threshold is different though, and that death line can be moved by other factors, such as combining with opioids, alcohol, or other respiratory suppressants.

I guess I don’t want them to suffer under shitty eldercare and healthcare systems just because they weren’t smart enough to plan for the future.

It seems irresponsible to go down a path that I know provides little security, when I know in 10 years an extra $10k can be the difference between full rehab after a broken hip or being checked on once a day.

Philly only has a less than ~5% vacancy rate on apartments. That's so low that the small amount of incoming supply isn't enough to have any meaningful impact on decreasing rates.

The answer to that is that we need to build even more of everything to account for all the demand. The clowns saying we shouldn't build new housing are the same people who bitch about how expensive rent is. They're too dumb to connect the lack for supply with the incoming population, and the subsequent increase in rent.
