Could be other outlets are wired incorrectly, which is throwing off this outlet. Got one of those simple polarity/ground testers, ran around checking all my outlets and found an entire room where the polarity was swapped because of one outlet.

Very. (Also: Nanjing is just shorthand for a couple of decades of brutality that preceded it and centuries of decidedly tense relations before then).

I worked as a manager in a retail store, during the holiday season it usually is really busy. This little boy lost his parents in the crowd and was crying pretty hard. I saw this and asked where his parents where, he had no clue, i took his hand and walked up and down the store untill i found his parents.
When i reached his parents, they saw i was holding the kids hand and they started yelling at me, how dare I holding it. A grown man and a kid, i must be predator. They swore never to come in my store again ans would spread the word that i was a Predator.
If i was a woman bringing back the kid, there would be no problem. Just as a man you are always seen as a predator as soon as you get near kids that arent yours.

Watching porn isn’t the same as developing personal relationships. I would be more upset with my girlfriend flirting with another person to be honest.

Reply to What are some weird movie age ratings, like films that don’t deserve this very mature age rating or something like that? by My_cat_is_sus
Ratings in US are strange and UK in some ways is a lot more strict (I’ve come to learn). For example, Titanic has a scene of very obvious nudity and is only PG-13, but there have been films like Halloween (2018) where there’s just a couple of frames of it. Maybe 3 moments where there’s I guess a “decent” amount of blood and it’s rated R. I suppose censors look at the “context” I honestly have no clue because I’m just as confused sometimes. Just like Paranormal Activity is rated R but it’s only because the F word is said a small handful of times along with some minor PG-13 cussing.

Unless you mean successful as in "actually happy". Then it's the ability to self-regulate regardless of circumstances.

I don't know where you're from, but people here (west central belt in Scotland) are more likely to drive slower than the speed limit. People still speed, but it's not as many or often as it used to be.

If not, I have no idea.

A bunch of 1mm tall dudes in hard hats and yellow safety gear, running around driving little miniature forklifts carrying pallets of electricity, and when I peel back the sides of the battery they all start yelling at me in thick bronx accents, threatening to get the union reps involved?

If you realize you are surrounded by toxic people maybe check on what you are doing to meet so many toxic people and recognize what you need to change too. Realized without actively seeking people out, unhappy people glom onto me.

You do realize if you're going under the speed limit, you're probably actually increasing your chances of being in a wreck because instead of driving with the flow of traffic, you're causing other drivers to pass you so you're actually encountering a lot more drivers than you would if you flowed with traffic right?
Also, do you ever notice people riding your ass or cutting you off? It's probably because you're driving under the speed limit and irritating them.
Maybe if you don't feel safe driving the limit, you should drive on slower roads to get to your destination instead of slowing everyone down behind you?
