You will want the wall spaced off the concrete. Typically it is an inch gap. Fasten the bottom plate to the floor and use brackets to fasten the top plate to the concrete wall while keeping the studs plumb.

Edit. Space brackets every 4' or so will be plenty. Simpson strong tie has many options available

That's when their needs start getting more expensive, phones, computers, transport, outgrowing clothes, and many will only have part-time minimum wage work for 15/16 -> 25/26. In many countries there's now record numbers of people in their 20s and 30s moving back in with their parents because they still can't afford to live independently.

This must be why in the hospital we can give such high doses of benzos to people in alcohol withdrawal with so little risk. I know they mimic the effect of alcohol for people who drink around the clock, but it still feels crazy giving 4mg lorazepam every hour (often with little effect) when most of us would get 8 hours sleep on 0.5mg

OK, keep the "hustle," but skip the yard work. If cashflow is your goal, focus on any special marketable education or skills you have. Graphic design? Programming?

If you don't have any particular educational or professional background, I'd recommend sales. If you're good at that, you can always make money. Car lots are almost always hiring sales people. The sales world is pretty aggressive and very much "I don't care what you did last month, how have you made me money lately?" But if you can handle it and be as aggressive as they are, there's a lot of up-side.
