I second this. Got jury duty few weeks ago. Had to go in. They said they usually have 3 cases per day but that day had 6. I didn’t get released until 330pm and others were surely there the whole day.

My FIL hasn’t responded to one in over 50 years. He got drafted into the army and told me, “I did my service they can go f**k themselves”. He has NEVER had anything happen.

You'll be fine. At worst you can give them your name, DOB and/or social and they look it up to verify you are a licensed driver in good standing.

In theory that’s how it should work. In practice the business owner rarely does the work to assure workers are paid minimum wage if their tips don’t cover it.

When I go out to eat, I always tip 20%, but I rarely go out to eat anymore unless it is a social event. Can't afford it anymore.

Before Covid you would walk into the AAA motor club and walk out with a copy. I doubt the law anticipated the current issues.

We're all up on our wills, etc. It was actually a fun experience, our lawyer made it a smooth experience, and it was a good feeling to get it taken care of.

My dad is 94, put everything in a trust about 12 years ago. I'm so glad he did. Five daughters, all of us would have to sign off on his selling his house, and three of us won't. Two sisters want him to sell and move him to the middle of Buttfuck, Nowhere, PA. Nearest hospital ~ 4 hours away. One of them almost had the house 'sold' to a neighbor's brother in law until I heard about it, and informed them that the house was in a trust and wouldn't be sold any time soon. They thanked me. People, take care of your paperwork. It's important to the ones you love.

I already ordered the replacement license online on dmv website but its gonna take 20 business days they said to deliver it

When I requested a replacement license online from the DMV last year, I received a temporary license that I could print out and carry with me. Did you not get one of those?

I’ve never been pulled over before and I drive safe I’m just worried about if I ever got pulled over for any reason like if my break light or something went out before my replacement license came. I don’t have a license copy currently, it would just be a picture of my stolen license

They could potentially just give you a written warning or a ticket for driving without having it. They wouldnt arrest you. Honestly dont get too paranoid about it. Depends on the officer and their mood especially if youre not a jackass about it. Im surprised theres nothing on DMVs website. Youre not gonna go to jail. You already have a license just not the physical card.
