Servers make a liveable wage being tipped 20% in nice establishments. If you go down to minimum wage it’ll ruin the entire job. You’d have to work 40 hour work weeks to make half what you used to make in 15-25 hours. People will just stop doing the job and do something else, all service will be bad for the most part because it won’t make a difference wether you work hard or not. mom and pop shops will suffer more and only the chains / well off places will thrive. People say owners are greedy for not paying servers enough but the servers make their own money same way a realtor gets a commission off a house sale.

It did SEEM straight forward when I read it before posting here. But nothing beats a person stating “Yes, I renewed my Real ID license online and got a Real ID one back in the mail.“

state doesn't pay for senate/house employee vehicles but they do get a special legislature license plate to put on their personal vehicles. State didn't buy this guy a BMW.

Only state employees who get cars are constitutional officers (Gov, Lt. Gov, AG, etc.) and a few other offices that use fleet vehicles for state business (DCF home visits, DEEP law enforcement, etc.)

The documentation here seems very straight forward.

You cannot renew online if any of the following are true for you:

  • You didn’t get a new photo taken the last time you renewed your driver’s license.
  • You’re applying for a REAL ID license for the first time. To get a REAL ID, please make an in-person appointment.
  • You are active-duty U.S. military or were honorably discharged in the last 60 days and wish to do a no fee renewal. Learn more about how military personnel can renew their driver’s license.
  • You’re not a U.S. citizen. Please make an appointment to renew in person.
  • You have a commercial driver’s license. Learn how to renew a commercial driver’s license.
  • Your license is suspended. Learn more about how to resolve a suspension.
  • You have a drive-only license. Learn how to renew a drive-only license.
  • Your license is expired two or more years. Please follow the procedure for getting a new driver’s license.
  • You have an S, V, A, or F endorsement. Please make an appointment to renew in person.
  • You do not have a first name or need to update your name. Please make an appointment to renew in person.

If you're not needing a new picture and are just renewing a REAL ID license, you can renew online.

Not at all my intention here. I was more pissed over the type of car the state pays for. My message was more about what our money pays for and watch your votes. I'm also not the one driving with my name on my tags. It's a public servant not some Joe schmo any way. Whatever really though.
