There's a certain amount of "blood from a stone" going on with nurses that people don't seem to realize.

There weren't enough of us in 2019, and a huge chunk of us either left the profession or fucking died in the past 3 years and combined with the normal attrition rate now there's nowhere near enough of us, and you can't just train up a new nurse in a couple months, and a competent one takes years.

This is going to get worse before it gets better.

I grew up in Norwich and have friends in Norwich and my parents house has been broken into and robbed and my friend has had people snooping around their garage at night. The people that robbed my parents house were white actually and drug addicts, so we’re not saying it’s because minorities live there.

Yeah but the Rent has 40,000 seats, Meadows only has 7500 seats the rest are lawn tix. Even if only 60% of those are usable due to stage setup, that is still 24,000 seats. Add in GA floor tickets on the field and you have similar capacity vs the Meadows just inverse seating vs GA ratios. That being said I don't think East Hartford wants concerts there. State should demolish it and rebuild in Storrs where it belongs. Or cancel the football program altogether.

Not trying to be a dick, but you're an "investor and property manager" and can't find an HVAC company willing to work with you?

My commercial HVAC guy would have the Seal Team 6 of installers at my house in an hour if I called in a favor, and I'm not anywhere close to their biggest customer, nor am I working on the scale you are.

Don't wanna make assumptions but something smells off.

If you're a Catholic in good standing, you tithe 10% of your income to the church.

That means that 10% of your income directly supports an enterprise that condones and covers up child abuse.

You have no moral ground to stand on here.

Edit- I feel for the ethical plight of good people who worship Yahweh, but at some point, the institution is no longer what it was meant to be.

Would the Christ who flipped the tables and chased out the moneylenders stand by for the abuse of the helpless?
