it’s because drivers licenses act as a standing ID card. if they didn’t have this information, then you would need to have both a drivers license and an ID, rather than just one or the other

Man, if only they had laws about those guns being illegal. They never would have been brought here!
We need more laws! More restrictions!

Guess you needed me to put the /s there.

I would suggest the golden rule of only breaking one law at a time. If you have no front plate dont speed, drink and drive, transport drugs, or sex traffic. Would suck if your whole operation was taken down because of a missing plate.

My old hometown of Trumbull is 72, my current hometown of Shelton is 81, and my side hometown (because I have a lot of family there) of Milford is 99.
I would have put Milford higher. I love living in Shelton, but if I could afford it I'd be in Milford. I don't have kids, but there's great schools for people that do, there's beaches, a mall, a movies, a great downtown, and a train station that gets you directly to New York.
Shelton has a train station at Home Depot called the Shelton/Derby stop, that gets you to Bridgeport, and then you can switch to an NYC train. I'd rather have a direct train stop though.
Trumbull is very nice, and I was lucky to live in a safe place, but the taxes are horrendous, and both Shelton and Milford offer more to people of all ages. Milford more than Shelton though.

Thanks! Interesting, and I’m glad I’m not the only one wanting to know what this is about. I would have loved to have taken a video, but I was a bit too busy . . . driving. Also, from the slightly elevated portion of I-95 I was on, it really appeared to be extremely low.

I had to do this as my car didn't have the bracket for the front plate on it. I drove by multiple cops and none really seemed to care. Of course, I was only like this for 2 weeks or so, and then after that I was able to get another bracket from the junkyard and then install my front plate.

I'm genuinely surprised by how many people have no idea about the 1959 husky in the center. Yes, folks, that is an actual UConn logo. Once in a blue moon you can find a shirt or sweatshirt using this logo.

Got pulled over for the little light in my back license plate being out when I was in my twenties. My philosophy is if you’re driving in towns the middle of nowhere you’re probably gonna get pulled over for something.

That is the UConn husky. It's sometimes called the 1959 husky or "derpy husky". You even can, on rare occasion find UConn swag with that husky on it. The bookstore in Storrs Center had them a few years ago and I made sure to drive over there and buy a shirt.

Route 8 loves setting up work zones around blind corners with absolutely zero signs, cones or any other type of indication of upcoming hazards

Reply to Chill jazz bars/venues in the Hartford area? by LiquidNah
There's a small music venue in Hartford across from the new Plan B Burger, and Bears Barbeque. That's probably what you're looking for. All their shows are easy listening type stuff like Dark Star Orchestra. I'm sure there's some Jazz going on. Infinity Music Hall** it looks pretty happening.
