Candlewick kennels will hire literally anyone, and won’t fire you unless you do something monumentally stupid

Reply to This is my first year owning a car how do car taxes work? Do they just mail you a form once a year? And how much is it typically? by _camnoble_
The car tax also allows us to have free access to state parks

I've had 3 bad experiences there. I want Sonic, I go to Warwick or in Smithfield, RI. One of the times at Manchester, I left and went to the Wendy's across the street.

went a bit too often before/during COVID, since 2021 I haven’t gone once after the same type of experience you had. if they’re open for another year I’ll be surprised

Try a temp agency. They found me a good job where I saved enough money to pay for my CDL and everything has been good ever since.
Edit: Trash companies need laborers. Note this is extremely back breaking work. In this industry I worked with bank robbers, murderers, gang members, sex offenders, etc. The trucking industry as a whole is very welcoming of everybody.

Amazon - it’s semi shitty pay for a lot of physical and mentally draining work but there’s room to move up if you want to

yes to all of that. But my point still stands and I see it here all the time - CT residents who are unaware of things like cost of living in OP's current home. That other states have higher fees and taxes on certain things. That traffic is indeed way worse in SoCal and Atlanta and elsewhere.
That was my point. Not that CT is some easily affordable utopia.
Kind of like how parts of Florida are no longer an easily affordable utopia anymore either and those who moved there 10 years ago are now eating shit when they get their homeowners insurance premiums.

I gotta try Philly's sometime, I remember seeing it when he was opening and got super excited

The Philly Cheesesteak is just about the only thing I ever order when I get a sub. Deli Unlimited in Guilford makes a great one, as do Ray and Mike's in Hamden and Joey Cals in North Branford. The best one I've ever had is from Shoreline Prime in Branford. Not a traditional Philly cause they use steak tips instead of shaved ribeye but holy fuck, it's an unreasonably good sandwich. They put a garlic butter aeoli on it too. Worth a trip.

Depending on the age of your vehicle, you may only need VIN Verification ($10). 4 years old or newer - I just registered my 2021 vehicle yesterday. I also didn’t need any emissions or VIN verification for a 1998 and a 1992. Book your appointment at DMV as soon as you have a date to move because appointments are two months or so out for new residents. I’ve been here since August but I just did my registration because I kept having to reschedule when I got to the day.
Also, I moved from Florida and I love it here, so I hope you enjoy it, as well!

In a world where you can't buy food with cash at the XL(state owned), you wonder where all the cash really goes? 🤔

Agreed and from experience I can say I’ve worked with plenty of people with records. Lots of places will look past it. A lot of places will give you overtime this time of year also.

Maintenance department at the CTDOT. If you have. CDL or willing to get one, you would have no issues getting a job
