Thanks, I'll give that method a try. You mean the lettering will also come off with just a soak in soap and water?

Yeah spraying indoors is very situational. But that's one situation for sure.

Thank you! After a quick Google, there are some similar looking bolts. That's something I can work with.

Seconded. Lighting an open flame in an (partially) enclosed room without proper exhausting(a chimney and fire brick) is stupid and downright dangerous. Just dont. Sure it night be OK most of the time... Until the time it isn't and you burn (hopefully only your) place down (hopefully with you not in the flames). Also I guarantee you are poisoning yourself with carbon monoxide

The thing is that food colouring is the usual medium used by potion makers with this exact recipe. Some use paint but usually to keep the liquid transparent instead of opaque, most paints like acrylic paint don’t really work. And all the other colours aside white work and hold up literal years.
So I’m not sure about your explanation if the rest of it has always worked. But I guess I can try other stuff

In the summer, all bottom-floor vents are supposed to be closed off (or just close off the entire trunk that feeds the downstairs vents directly.) This will send the cold air to the upper floors first.
A fan will simply pull the hot air out of your room, pulling cooler air from the rest of the house into it. It will work, but perhaps not that fast or that well.

Acetone eats PVC.
The best way to clean them is simply to clean them. Bring them into the shower with you, or take a pressure washer to them, or put them in a big tub of soapy water to soak for a while.

Food colouring is organic.
Isopropyl destroys organic molecules.
You need an alcohol or solvent-based dye, or you need to stop using Isopropyl, and switch to something else, like mineral oil, but you will then need to switch to an oil or solvent-based dye as well.

The Franklin M210 is the king of traditional-style stud finders, and it typically runs 60-80 dollars CAD.

There's no such thing. All screws require anchors in drywall.

Eh, you would have been fine with just the polyacrylic. It's not as tough as urethane, but it's still fine.
Don't know why you decided to switch to oil afterwards, but either way the poly was not fully cured when you went over it. It may stay soft now, it may not.

Check that the heating element has 240 volts across the inputs when the power is on. Be very careful when you're doing this, do not short anything and do not touch anything electrical with your body.

Reply to comment by JamesHoIden in Attempting to move a wall outlet in my basement a few inches to the left and am totally stumped. Any help GREATLY appreciated!! by JamesHoIden
Just keep in mind there may be rules for number of outlets needed for every linear foot of usable wall space. Depending where you live.
You could also extend the EMT piping using couplers and a pull through 90. Your conductor may not reach though.

I’ll double check but I’m pretty sure it was. Before it broke the setting it was on heated the old coil.

I do have a multimeter. I checked the thermal fuse and it has continuity. I don’t know anything else to check. Those were the main search results.

Reply to I cleaned a rust stain near my bathtub drain and noticed the porcelain/enamel is gone and it is now bare metal. Is there any way to repair this to prevent future rust? by Sevitrey
Remove drain and thouroughly clean it. Check to see how bad rust is. Clean off rust and loose enamel. Apply rust converter to rusty metal (phosphoric acid) and let it do its job. Wipe than rinse off when done and dry completely. Rusted area shound now be black/gray. Apply an epoxy resin based enamel and let it cure. Apply silicone around the drain pipe and reinstall drain. This should be a long term fix. 😁❤

Making the plumbing bigger doesn't help if the well pump can't maintain the water flow necessary for the sprinkler.
Same goes for the filters too.
Add up the GPM of all the sprinklers you plan on running at the same time and see if the filter and pump can supply that water.

Out of personal curiosity, what do you do if you wanted to remove the plug and put cabinets over it?
You can't remove the wire without taking down all the drywall. I assume there is a proper way to do it without having to demo a bunch of wall.
