I built my pergola using components from this company:
They got a fantastic look and super easy to go together.
I did not secure it to the deck.

I only plan on using it to make wax seals so with what you’re saying that shouldn’t be a problem then. Not a candle maker, but thanks for the info anyways - who knows what I might get into next lol

I think he probably meant for you to use duct tape to hold the drain hose in the drain so it won't pop out. And they will do that.

When it comes to laying brick. Make sure that the sand is compacted with a mechanical tamper. Make a border with cement and bricks laid into them to keep the sand somewhat in. After you lay your brick I have seen a mixture of something of 3 sands to 1 cement mix to fill in the voids, broom it in powder mist it wet..top seal everything and you should be good.

Could be, but I find it strange that the machine then starts in the first place. Like, in the washers I know the door switch is (simply put) the second thing in the line with the first being the Power On/off switch.
So the machine shouldnt even drain/fill/heat if the latch was at fault. Which also makes sense because it prevents the kind of energy waste OP is experiencing.

well, if there is a fire and this was not to code the insurance will probably not cover the damage....they will certainly look for any excuse not to!!

Reglazing doesn't really last longer than 5 years in my experience. If a person were unethical, or unaware, it would work for a house that you are planning to flip, but yeah, totally not worth it.

I cut some wetex sponge to size and put it in the contact points of our sons bed. Sorted! It’s thin dense dish/ utility sponge if you’re not familiar

if there is no connections inside the box just wires passing through, does it count as a box? at that point it is basically an odd shaped conduit

Drill hole on side of box , run new cable , 4 inches over. Hot patch box with 5 minute. Stuff fries like a rock.
I have a 7 year old handyman business

Easiest option: don’t move the box, cut a hole in the back of the new bookcases and leave the outlet between shelves. You can plug child-proof plugs and hide it behind your books.

Not sure why i am getting down voted. If the lights aren't wired parallel, the lights after the first one won't get the required voltage to operate optimally.
The split will probably be closer to the lights which would make re-doing the wiring difficult since your would need to run wires to the split for the switch.
I would like an explanation why someone would think this information is wrong?

Excellent, with the remote for the fan it should all work out perfectly then!
Don't get addicted to the smart lighting, I liked mine so much I ended up kitting the whole house out with them. ;)

Great points. Luckily I have a remote for the fan, so I can leave the switch on and still control the fan and its individual light, while allowing the other down light fixture to be kept on. Thanks for the good feedback.

Interesting. The fan has its own remote, but obviously just controls the fan. This doesn't fix the downright being always on. Thanks for sharing the pic.

It would be the same, in that a 2x4 bottom chord of an engineered truss is not designed to carry any live load other than the roof load. A person hanging from a 2x4 risks breaking the 2x4, because by themselves, 2x4s are not structural.
