I think people get really hung up on the 'how' too and equating that to it, not 'thinking'.
You know 'how' humans come up with thoughts? It's surprising how many people think brains have some special capabilities to be creative masterpieces with every sentence, rather than meat sac computers than chuck out best guess words most of the time.
I don't this this is AGI, but an AGI could definitely come from this track.

The immunotherapy keytruda destroyed my cancer . I have a rare kind called sarcoma . I believe my diet of cutting carbs and vitamin c iv played a big part in how effective this drug worked for me. More studies need to be done with patients to see how important diet and vitamin c iv really is for effectiveness.

Also, the latent heat of ICE is 80 i.e.. the energy it takes to melt ice can raise temprature of same amount of water by 80C so its a double wammy. not only you are absorbing more energy, you are also heating much faster and thus creating more melt/vapor.

There is no ceiling, really, i guess. Like pain. Short of the earth exploding. As an ICU nurse I kinda had this realization on the job - there's an almost infinite number of things worse than death. So, so many circumstances. Make an advance directive. lol. At the very least, thinking in terms of "quality of life" can advance the conversation in a lot of misdirected fields.

Plus if you scout out the correct stars or if your species becomes advanced enough to master stellar husbandry you'd just encourage many stars to become red dwarfs to ride out the heat death of the universe in style. The smaller red dwarfs have lifespans in the trillions of year range they fuse hydrogen so slowly that you are essentially guaranteeing an energy source for a long time.

Interesting. So if you had a bunch of these and used like a 35% efficient steam turbine without any other losses in the piping that's 20% + 35% * 60% = 41%. That seems extremely high though, so it seems wrong to me. That would match some of the most expensive solar panels used for satellites.

Crispr has been demonstrates to act at cancer causing mutation locations. Target selection is vital to success and require targeting multiple different mutations simultaneously.
Bad targeting has been rare and inconsequential in the context of current treatment side effects i.e. chemo and radiation.
Crispr can by used more than once to mop ip stragglers.

This is not entirely clear in the article. So they use solar heating for, for example, hot water while using the PV for energy production? It’s not a bad idea, the water cools down the PV so they’re kinda killing two birds with one stone.

I thought they had engineered enzymes onto the existing NKs, no? Sure it is an extra step but well worth it.

I guess I’m doing a little to help the environment. WFH saves on gas pollution. I don’t drive much. I’m averaging 2 flights every 9 years. My phone is at least 5 or 6 years old. I’m 2 generations behind on Xbox. I haven’t bought a shirt since the month the pandemic started. And I barely use Amazon.
But yeah, I do like fruit & veggies that don’t grow here. And I eat meat. And there’s so much waste from manufactured products. I’m not too conscientious about companies or working to save the environment. I guess I’m just neutralish.

No it’s literally not. You can believe and hope it is all you want, but unfortunately it is not. And just because it is paid for by governments in other countries does not mean that it is a “right” there either.
The American system is hugely broken and needs an overhaul. But to believe because you are born you are entitled to other humans caring for/mending you is asinine.

Are there ANY groups out there that have a A.I. system that creates a conversation without gleening from databases on the internet?
But it is an opinion piece, so yes informed opinions matter a bit.

Well, let's see, how many trees and forests have we planted to tone down the built up heat ?
How many private jets, do we really need another plague to force everyone to stay land side?
