It really is- heck when more then half the state lost power for like 14-20 hours earlier this winter we had almost every surrounding street down with no power but we are on a priority grid so we were up quick. I think there’s places on this list in these counties that offer what people need- and we purposely made sure we had quick electric access and cable internet availability- honestly we would have paid to have a pole installed for it if nothing was an option- I had a friend who lives 5 miles away lose power for 3 days and didn’t have internet for 5 bc she lives on a backroad - it really is relative.

No, sorry I didn’t explain that well. They don’t reissue titles for cars that are older than 1999. So if someone bought a 96 Ford Taurus that year, registered and titled it that year and still own it, they should still have that title. I imagine the state of NH decided to stop reissuing titles for older vehicles to cut down on paperwork or something.

As someone that works from home in IT, I would love to have 1Gbps up. I have spectrum right now on 500Mbps/20 and it sucks when I have to upload large packages. I end up remoting into machines on site to spin up WMs, do all my packages and testing.

However, they aren’t in my area…yet.

I am in healthcare now and going back to school for computer science in the fall. Even before Covid started, I was starting to feel burn out and decided to start planning. It’s unfortunate because I do care about patients and helping others, but it’s taking a mental toll on me personally.

Yeah, Unity embraced it's name. Used to have a great diverse student base, close community on and off campus. Great dedicated professors and a wonderful atmosphere. I recall being able to go to the union, grab one of 20 old chipped mugs that seemed to come from peoples homes, sweeten it with honey harvested from a professor's beehive and then pay the girl at the counter who was doing work study. All while bob Marley or some other reggae was playing on the rigged together stereo.

A few years later, it was homogenized. All sysco food and disposable cups, pepsi products and run by employees in uniform with no music or a stereo to play it. The place had been gutted.

Fuck "progress" at Unity the administration destroyed the place. Stole the name and moved out of town.
