Yea, they basically want to impart their own values onto other people's children. Don't really care for the kids at all.

Isn’t that the truth. The same people that scream about freedom want the government to tell them how to raise their children, and everyone else. If they’d quit focusing on how to discipline their children and talk to them AND actually listen to them. They might not have to worry so much about what’s going on in school and what other people are doing.

Reply to Could a 4-Day, 32-Hour Work Week Come to Pennsylvania? These 3 Democrats Are Working On It by Open_Veins_8
There is no reason not to. Data shows productivity goes UP with a 4 day, 32 hour week with no reduction to salary. Only stone rigid old school types will argue otherwise. And there is the benefit of happier employees. It’s a win-win which of course will be shot down.

Having people raise their own children and impart values to them? You're talking crazy talk.

I mean— I’d be happy with this too lol. I’m a bit cynical that a 32 hour week is going to takeoff anytime soon but I’d just love the 4 10s option. This isn’t gonna be widespread in USA for at least another decade

Yeah, that sounds about right for a tester.
Explains why we have more than our fair share of shitty, incompetent drivers, too.

No, never. The very word “turnpike“ refers to the bar that they would only raise to let you through once you paid the toll.

As a person who works for the state and only works 37.5 hours, it is a HUGE paycut. I'm fine with 4- 10 hr days, but cutting hours is thousands per year

Here is a very interesting read on Prospect Homes:
https://cambriamemory.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/A-Restrained-Militancy-Johnstowns-Postwar-Black-Community.pdf (Page 5/151)
Basically it started out to where many whites in 1943 refused to even sign their leases because “they didn’t want to live with black people”.
It basically was the way until around 1970 when the courts stepped in and basically said every JTown Housing Property has almost no black persons except Prospect.
It really makes you wonder how much care & maintenance they would have gotten on that almost 30 years of first existence.

That doesn't seem right either. The low range would be under $12 an hour.

My guess is someone typed in the salary assuming the decimal point would automatically be inserted 2 numbers from the right. They have more experience using an adding machine than a computer.

It’s always the children. They get better weed than I do now.😂 You can’t expect society to protect your children. You have to be a parent and do it yourself. I have 3 daughters that don’t drink, don’t use drugs and aren’t boy crazy. It’s called raising them right. I need it for my arthritis, but I think it’s better than alcohol anyway. Marijuana doesn’t give you cirrhosis, diabetes or any of the health problems alcohol does, but alcohol is legal and marijuana isn’t. That’s just stupid.
