I guess I'm not clear on the point of a coat of arms then, if it is designed to represent a state's values and interests at an increasingly-remote moment in time. Seems like a recipe for irrelevancy.

My old roommate thought it needed a transmission but I ended up just filling it with fluid because it had a slow leak at the axle seal, I guess he never checked the transmission fluid. Cosmetically it looked beat, not a car wash in 10 years

While not strictly required, maintaining detailed records of the sale would be ideal. If the amount paid was very low or abnormally low (e.g. sales for $1), PA reserves the right to investigate and tax the actual value of the car.
You'll want to work with someplace that specializes in vehicle titling. Some notaries will decline to handle titles.
Penndot has information, too: https://www.dmv.pa.gov/VEHICLE-SERVICES/Title-Registration/Pages/Buying-a-Vehicle.aspx

With the 2017 eclipse, I think we only got about 25% of the full eclipse where I live. I think we’ll get about 80-90% of a total eclipse where I live for the one next year.
The one in 2017 was my first solar eclipse that I’ve experienced. It’s quite the experience if you’ve never experienced one, even a partial eclipse.

Make sure to write up a quick "bill of sale" with the buyer and seller's name & address, vehicle vin number and selling price. Both of you then date & sign it. I usually write up 2 copies beforehand to be ready just to sign....

If the purchase price is too low it may flag something. They expect an "arms length" transaction when calculating sales tax.

This is true, but if your stated price is far below market value, they can refuse and investigate. That's why you tell them that it is in need of major repairs, engine or trans 😏

Um, sometime kids need to cross a 4 lane road. It isn't the kid's fault.

Bottom line - it doesn't matter. You went through a bus stop sign and you got a ticket. If you go to court saying your vision was obscured then the court will just tell you that you were going too fast for the conditions.

These are some wildly Pennsylvania comments. I’ve never seen a group of people try so hard to deny they’re rad. PA is my favorite state for a lot of reasons but one of them is not the utter lack of self-confidence folks have in how cool our state is.

All of those things sound like they could apply to most states. We like commerce, have natural resources, and humans who think and do things? How unique! Let's put it on a flag.

So what you're saying is, our coat of arms is badly out of date?

The roofs of the warehouses around the area are not manufactured to hold weight, only to keep weather out. These buildings are made at the lowest cost possible by land owners/logistics companies.

Eh, PA's flag is good. It's really that every other state's blue field flag stinks and drags PA's down with them.

Don’t forget Ohio. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re Ohio State Fans. And some, I assume, are good people.

I doubt it.
Something appears to have gone very wrong with their supply chain or their fulfillment operation.
It shipped immediately, yesterday morning... from Phoenix, AZ. Nobody who has a nationwide distribution network, functioning as intended, especially for shelf-stable pet food, should have to send orders to here from freaking Arizona.
You're right, their customer service folks are awesome. I just don't see how they're awesome enough to stop a truck 3 time zones away and, what? Put my stuff on a plane to get it here maybe a day sooner?
Maybe just the shortages are getting worse. I can't imagine they don't still have a distro center in, say, New York or New Jersey that's a hell of a lot closer. So the fact that it didn't come from there tells me they didn't have any to send.

It's pretty bad. Way to busy in the middle. An island of mess floating in an vast blue space. Don't get me started on the tiny words. Big no-no on flags. Philly's flag is also bad because it makes the same mistakes but has a wide vertical stripe on either side, forcing the city seal to be even smaller.
Look at places like Chicago, Denver, Colorado, and Texas. Simple designs that look clean and neat. The people of those places not only know their flag but like it enough to display it and wear it on shirts and even tattoos. They connect with their state through the flag. I bet a majority of people in PA can even identify the flag. It's a bad flag.
