Yeah there is something more serious going on than typical depression, it is depression caused by a stroke. While he is able to function as a normal person there are physical effects of that that changes who you are and what you can do. That's a big fucking change. Also the damage from a stroke may directly be the cause for depression. All of which he is seeking and obtaining treatment for. Which is something that if your insurance covers it should be considered normal. And it can happen to anybody. This man happens to be a senator. That doesn't mean he shouldn't seek treatment for either a condition exacerbated by a stroke or directly caused by a stroke.

r/Philadelphia has a great mega-thread with continuous updates, I encourage you to check it out!!!

As for where things stand right now:

  • Water is safe to drink and use until at least Wednesday night at 11:59pm
  • They’ll keep testing and updating us regularly, any threat/concern should pass within a week (not sure if this meant a week from the spill AKA Friday or a week from when I read that AKA next Monday)
  • Really, the water is fine. Especially for showering, cleaning, dishes, etc. Even if they find the chemicals, the water is fine for those purposes.

Idk what it is, maybe that Hershey is my hometown … but the chocolate is just eh. If I see any other brand I would pick over Hershey’s.

Only time I’ll eat a Hershey bar is with a s’more!

A chocolate bar from them is just not enjoyable

Living in Hershey , has made me not like the chocolate

Where are you getting that number from? I don’t see it in the article anywhere.

I’m curious if the difference here is the CA standard vs national standard. CA often has much stricter standards, hence all the “this product is known to cause cancer in the state of CA” warnings you see. Maybe the bars are within the national FDA standard or whatever, but far exceed the CA one .

i believe you CAN get the bolt if you have a ham radio permit or similar thing. im from MA and ive seen a couple.

edit: just looked it up, shouldve done that before posting. "So what does it mean? The Commonwealth of Massachusetts uses the lightning bolt to designate an amateur radio operator license plate. The plate number is the owner's call sign, as issued by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC)."
