I see no rule that states that. Please state which number it is?

People are allowed to be sick. If it looks like he'll be back to work soon, then I want him to keep his seat. I like Fetterman and want him to be my Senator. If it looks like it'll be a long road to recovery, I want him to step down. His health is more important than trying to do a job that someone else could do just as easily.

The NRC's response to Fukushima, despite the power companies wishes, seems to make them decently reliable in my eyes.

Although it is a pretty crazy coincidence that Nuclesr Power Companies and the Nuclear Regulatory Comission both hire experts in Nuclear energy.

My wife and I had just moved to PA from VA several weeks earlier. The night prior to the accident, we watched The China Syndrome. Remember the line spoken by a scientist about rendering an area the size of Pennsylvania permanently uninhabitable? We get up the next morning, turn on the news and WHOA!

That evening we called a friend of ours who worked at Babcock & Wilcox in Lynchburg VA, the builder of the TMI reactor, asking if we "were gonna die." His words "if you were going to die, you'd be dead already." Scary times indeed.

You will be fine. 100,000 gallons of water move through the Delaware every second. The spill was 8,000 gallons. The concern was that the spill, while small in comparison to the river, could be in high enough concentration that some water could enter a treatment plan a few miles downstream of where the spill was. I am not a hydrologist or something, but I'd bet money on the river washing any final traces of the spill away from the area near the intake valves (which they are constantly monitoring with extra diligence and testing because of the spill - and they haven't had cause for concern yet) .

Honestly the story here is how the city officials fucked things up and got everybody panicked and told them to buy bottled water, than retracted that statement 2 hours later. Ever since then, they've said consistently that the water is safe. But by then the fear had spread and people were scared the government was telling the truth or not, if they heard the new news at all. Tbh, I think somebody jumped the gun on sending out the warning.
