Yes it’s considered safe. Not as close as most would like if you want to closer to the downtown scene though. If you don’t care about that then you’re fine. Aside from busy roadways which is most of Stamford then you’re A okay. Urby is pretty sought after but if you’d rather be in a “safer community” then you should check out Harbor point if you really want a community feel. You have a market, plenty of restaurants and a dog park.

The shocks look pretty rusty but I haven’t given them a try so I’m just not sure. I have an impact wrench but I wasn’t sure if that would fit up there. I’ve also sprayed them with penetrating fluid the past couple of weeks in preparation for this job.

One time class was 3 hours and it was fun! I think they put the more junior instructors on those classes but she was still knowledgeable.

I am enrolled and those classes are much more in depth (obviously). You can sign up for studio time also so you can get the most out of class.

Tip: if you want access to early enrollment you can become a member by making a donation. The classes book up QUICK. I felt like I was buying concert tix the day I wanted to register. They do have dropouts so you can also put your name on a wait list.

Edit: They have a pretty informative website if you want to check that out!

I’m going to check pricing with Benny on Monday. If it’s a no go I’ll be hitting you up! Only thing I don’t have would be a tool to cut out shocks if they’re rusty. I’ll find that out on Monday too.

If you live in Stamford the Ferguson Library is where you will get a library card. I don't know too much about the libraries in the surrounding towns as I'm relatively new to Stamford as well. Sometimes a library will allow those that live out of district to attend programs, other times they do not. I just happen to be a librarian in a different county and know that many libraries will offer classes.
