Did anyone see what happened on bedford/forest street? I think a pedestrian was hit crossing near Latham park.

I live in the area and am waiting to hear more. I haven’t seen anything yet on the Advocate, NextDoor or Twitter. If anyone has any more info, it would be appreciated.

Heard over the scanner there was a shooting. They declared a Mass Casualty Incident, but that does not necessarily mean deaths. Seems like they’re closing scene down. Just said two victims in total.

I don't disagree with you but I think this is kind of useless advice? In my experience in Stamford if you approach someone they'll be very guarded and tell you to leave them alone. That's not something you fix by being more outgoing.

Sure. Stamford Hospital wants to pretend it’s a NYC hospital but doesn’t have the services, resources nor the staff expertise to back that up. For minor illnesses or injuries it is fine, but for more serious or life threatening illnesses, it doesn’t measure up. Further, they are predatory with billing and collections. Money is their primary concern.
