El Charrito hits.

They have a truck that they usually keep parked on the West Side, by the strip club Beamers. If you want sit down, they have another location on East Main Street - the building that looks like a Dairy Queen.

Not sure if they have margaritas though...

Just be warned Urban Connections charges a broker fee (usually equal to one months rent). It also took me two weeks and about 6 reminders to get a copy of my lease from them. Once they have your $$ they don’t care to help anymore.

The townhouses are good but definitely see them in person first. They are about a foot off the sidewalk with floor to ceiling windows so you get no privacy or need to keep your blinds closed 24/7.

The 6th floor lofted apartments are great though if you want more space, but they are still overpriced.

We have had a horrific time at Element One (Bozzuto). Like, the worst experience we’ve ever had in an apartment in 2+ decades of renting. We broke our lease and are leaving soon. I feel like I need to sell my left kidney to pay all the fees, but it’s that bad.

I second this. I looked into harbor points apartments before moving to Stamford and thought Arrive was just as nice and slightly better price. Haven’t had any issues here. I also drive to the city and those time should be fine, but I personally try to get the train as I find it to be less stressful depending how far in the city you’re going.

I will third the sentiment that these aren’t luxury. They’re cheaply constructed. The building I’m in is flimsy, has constant maintenance problems, and is LOUD. I call it lipstick on a pig. It’s also the most I’ve ever paid for rent in my entire life, with the least in return for my money.

Edit to add: Do not drive to the city. Ride the train. You will also have to pay a hefty amount to park your car at a complex.
