I agree on there being no good sushi places in Stamford, but fwiw Sushi Soba in Greenwich is pretty good and they deliver to downtown Stamford.

Stay away from Harbor Point and anything by BLT. They’re pervasive here but really shoddy terrible construction. They’re all the same. Thin walls, cheap fixtures, and lots of issues — like parking garage collapses. Also, no groceries stores over there, so it’s a bit quieter but not worth the cost for sure.

I played last year (men's league), was surprisingly competitive. I'd definitely be up for playing again, even in the co-ed one. Let me know if you end up doing so

You might have better luck with visiting one of the food trucks on Long Wharf Drive in New Haven. I know that's 40 mins away but it's a lot of fun and the food trucks are very authentic.

Correct. Stamford is top notch for food too. Def better Mexican but overall we have more variety and better takes than Houston

If you're talking about Mexican food or BBQ specifically, then I agree. But in terms of overall food, NYC and Houston are in completely different leagues.

I haven’t found any good authentic Mexican food here. Coming from California, I never realized how spoiled we were with great Mexican/South American food until coming to the northeast. It must exist, but I haven’t found it yet.
