I'll just jot that down real quick, the only soccer macmac cares about is US women's team... fantastic! Thank you for that.

Sorry folks but it's another window-dressing by the current Indian government.
They propose such uplifting ideas all the time (like toilets for all, cng for all, ban on single-use plastics yada yada) but lack solid implementation when put to scrutiny.
Edit: right-wing ₹2 it-cell active on reddit as well.

Well when given the historical and societal context, it might be evil but it's definitely not in good faith. Girls have way less access to education, that's an empirical fact. This is just trying to bridge that gap.

I watched this match and Barca were very good. They were camped in Roma's penalty box in the first half and really should have scored more. And this Roma team is solid, they've played some really nice football this season and last. And they were much better in the second half of this match.

It was a fair question, everybody should be given the same access to education. Traditionally women have been given the short end of the stick with education in India, so hopefully this works to bridge the gap.

So he approves the Willow project on the 12th of March then makes this memorandum on the 13th of March, which includes the exception “Nothing in this withdrawal affects rights under existing leases in the withdrawn areas.” Please someone correct me if I’m wrong in interpreting that as the Willow project is still green lit bc the lease was formally approved the day before!?

If it makes you feel any better, the 5-year survival rate for all cancers combined has increased from 50% to 67% in the last 50 years, and there has been significant improvement in every single cancer category (except uterine cancer) which implies that the improved treatments have not been restricted to only a few rich people, but that therapeutic improvements have been more widespread.

Pretty ignorant take. India's birthrate was high in the 1900s which makes sense since the whole country was primarily an agrarian society which was also heavily exploited and in extreme poverty. Their birthrate right now is infact slightly below replacement level, which is the optimal rate for economic growth considering their young population.
https://www.statista.com/statistics/272789/world-population-by-continent/
The only long term contributer left to world population growth is sub-saharan Africa. Every other continent is staying primarily the same, or even expected to fall, in population by 2100

They're not facing the same level of difficulty in getting education.
As for why prioritizing girls' education is good in the poor/rural communities of developing countries:

In the UK the decision to prosecute is made by the CPS (Crown Prosecution Service) who are themselves barristers/solicitors on the government payroll - however they do not prosecute the case in court.
The CPS keep a list of approved barristers for criminal cases who they can basically sub-contract the work out to, to actually prosecute the case in court on behalf of the crown.
The cab rank rule basically means those on the approved list arent allowed to pick and choose, the CPS assigns cases to the next in line and they are expected to accept the work irrelevant of the case. Its technically meant to work the same for people looking for a legal professional to defend them, they shouldn't be turned away based on the case, but in actuality its usually fairly easy to find a 'conflict' or a 'diary overlap' if you really don't want to do it.
Its also worth noting a bunch of the people who signed this declaration are not actually barristers on the CPS's approved list - so they couldn't prosecute these cases on behalf of the crown even if they wanted to, its just virtue signalling.

Traditional loans in this case means access to funds with low interest (alternative being loan sharks) to start a small business.
It has helped many people achieve financial independence

It really isnt, commenter up top asked, clearly being ignorant, why only girls. Instead of anything sensible like „because boys are already schooled” or „yeah you are right, all od the kids should get the school”, what came was some insane ranting about suffering olympics.

Because doing things for girls in unfortunate situations is noble. Asking why it can't be done for boys is evil. Apparently.
Edit: see below for examples. Girls = noble. Boys = bad.
