Because they're not as good at said sports.

I guess it's the same reason that most people watch the Premier league instead of div3 or MLS or the Irish league. People usually want to see the best people at a sport play said sport.

Men and women aren't allowed to compete against each other in physical sports for a reason.

Obviously they are both as competitive as each other within their own sport. However, that doesn't put them on an equal skill level.

I am saying this objectively.

Personally, I'll happily watch women's soccer. But most won't, and above is one of the reasons.

Yeah, although it's up to the tenants to make sure it's enforced, this is definitely a great example of when government influence is a positive thing. It's not very capitalist of us, but definitely better for everyone in the long run.

I for one am always glad to have so much be governed and regulated by our government and the EU. Even though it does put limits on some liberties, in general I can easily see how it's influenced my life way more positively than negatively. Protection from bad actors such as these landlords is a great example of it.

Coming from that, it was baffling to learn how anti-government some western countries such as the USA are. Some think that is liberty, but it's the opposite; the average citizen has so much more potential over here because there's always a safety net, exceptions notwithstanding.

"What difference does a single grain of sand make?" asked every grain on the beach.

Even if the amount Britain contributes doesn't make a difference (and if you had IVs of poison dripping into your veins, don't tell me you would leave one on just cause it wasn't the one dripping the most), Britain's actions make a difference. Countries look to other countries as examples. Countries feel pressure from the actions of other countries. Britain might not make the biggest difference, but they can set an example.

Or Britain can sit, lazy as a turd on a log, and do nothing because "why should I be the first one to do a good thing? Why should I stop doing a bad thing if someone else is doing it worse?" and let everyone else feel comfortable pointing at everyone else instead of doing anything, and we can all go down pointing.

So no, Britain isn't going to solve the climate crisis on its own. But asking it to stop being part of the problem isn't crazy.

Sometimes we humans can’t control what happens to us, whether it is good or bad. The surgery worked, one twin is home and, God willing, the second twin will be coming home soon! We need to take the Blessings when we get them! Pray for the second twin to be strong enough to go home soon! Think “Positive” to help this along.

Big respect for India regarding combat poverty.

  1. I worked on a documentary about a central kitchen that can supply thousands of meal for free every day.
  2. I worked on a documentary about their Sikhs communities. They also cook free meals for thousands of people every single day too.

Never seen that kind of support anywhere in the world
