Well it seems like it could be a few things going on. On Facebook they responded to this person when they asked if it was just the food and they would still brew.

they said "a lot of ugliestness to deal with behind the scenes right now before they can even think about brewing beer"

Obviously yes but I really don’t see how can can fit approx 30-50 kids. We have large classes and it’s easier when our field trips involve more than one class with the goal of going to point xyz, especially for shows, productions etc.

We don’t have access to transportation as readily as we should and it sucks.

second this x 10000. Have had to deal with bed bugs from a neighbor who refused to treat. The block ended up spending like 2 years treating and sending those bugs one way or another, getting them to go away, only to come back again. Finally moved out. Luckily I was renting the bed bug house but if i was trapped in a 30 year mortgage in that situation idk what I would have done I haven't found noise to be an issue I never hear my neighbors and they never hear us. I think the brick insulates pretty well but critters don't care about walls lol.

I don't fully buy the skatepark/dirtbike comparison. Skateparks take up a relatively small amount of space, skateboards aren't noisy. But mostly - someone riding their board to and from a skatepark wouldn't be noticeable at all. How do people think these people are going to get to and from these hypothetic motocross tracks lol

For sure I can. For starters, the police think that this was all schemed from the start. Makes sense because how else with the robbers know the exact delivery spot he was at and get him so quickly?

He got an order to an apartment building and realized there was no apartment number. He was about to enter to building but someone stopped him (my guess is they were just waiting by the side in the shadows till my husband got close). That “someone” said he was the one who ordered and went to take the order. Husband went back to the car and as soon as he got in, a car pulled up behind him so he couldn’t get out of the parking spot. I asked him if there was any “red flags” about the order that would have made him suspicious and he said the only thing he thought was weird was that there was no apartment number. All his previous orders always had one.

Husband said that the same thing happened at that same location, just in an apartment building next to the one he was robbed at the night before. Then, right around the time his robbery happened, FOUR other similar carjackings happened. I was always so worried that this could happen to my husband as I kept hearing on the news that Uber ride robberies were on the rise. Please, please be careful.

Edited to add: my husband also works for Uber Eats. The incident happened when he was working for Uber Eats. Either way, neither of these companies make it easy or safe for their drivers.

Off the idea that horseracing and major commercial sports in general is fucking stupid and a piss poor waste of taxpayer dollars.

If the Stronach thinks it’s a good business idea to race the ponies the Stronach group should do that. But the state shouldn’t subsidize them. Ditto with all other sportsball companies.

Yeah even with some of the "professional" jobs you have to keep an eye out for cover ups.

My old house was a full gut rehab by charm city builders back when they had a different name (I think t and d development maybe). They did a good job overall but we had a framing inspection scheduled before sheetrock was up where we found a few shortcuts on floor joists not being set properly in the brick. They likely would have been fine as they were structurally sound vertically they just left an inch of wiggle room around them that needed to be mortared in. I also got in to wire speakers while they were still building and saw a guy split a 100 year old beam with a carriage bolt because he didn't pre drill a hole for it. Told the builder to fix it and they sent me a photo of the area sheetrocked in. I had to insist they remove the sheetrock and show me the repair which ended up being a bunch of 2x4s bolted all around the split beam.

Thing is even the best companies employ contractors and they can't keep an eye on every person in the house all day.

For other delivery drivers can you please elaborate? Was he in the middle of an order and left his car running on delivery? Or was he at an intersection and told to get out? What happened so others can possibly avoid this situation?

I get it's an industry reported figure and they have reason to inflate things (using numbers reported to the government), but we are also comparing it to that one Redditor's opinion.

It's not an exact comparison, but until we get actual reported numbers and facts from a neutral source like a state agency, what else are we supposed to go off of?

>I think unfortunately part of the allure of riding the dirt bikes is the nuisance it causes.

I mean, same for Harleys but we still apply laws to them.

>I don’t think they would go anywhere near a sanctioned dirt bike area.

It might make enforcement easier. Plus, maybe the key would be making the arena kick ass. People go to tracks to race their cars that they definitely like racing on streets, yes?

Riders like attention/people watching them that’s why the never ending calls to set up a track for them are dumb

Unless you could set up stands and get people to watch but even then maybe at best
