Aside from the obvious, you can tell how fucked it is because the platform is empty. Imagine this scene before 2020, every square inch of that platform would have someone standing on it. So many people have just given up on the T because of how bad it is.

The slow zones combined with the frequency changes from Maverick inbound are brutal, especially compared with how the blue line usually is.

Not a chance! I’ve had this pie every Christmas for the past 15 years. It’s perfection every time.

I see the problem here, the sign refreshes every 10 to 14 minutes. Signs don't know shit about trains, or buses.

I’d recommend signing up for Blue bikes. I also have a scooter and will use one of the other to get to work depending on my mood. If it’s really snowy I’ll walk or WFH, but I like going to the office and it’s easy to get around the city.

I still can't believe I moved to a city, that got excellent ratings in numerous sources for its mass transit operations, and this is the reality. That poor bastard who just got hired is in for a Promethean battle.

This. I ride SW corridor, then mass Ave into Cambridge. SW corridor is safe, then from Mass@Columbus to the bridge I have to pray. There's always either someone parked in the bike lane, or college students Jay walking, or people turning right onto Boylston with their eyes closed.

I always appreciated how the buses ran in Boston, but I always expected delays with the T. I always got to my destination relatively on time with the public buses.

No info because the attacker was black and the Boston globe / all of Boston refuses to point a finger or say anything bad about any minority.

Lol you actually think these slow zones on the T will get fixed in the next months or years? How long have you been living in Boston?
Reddit bot, remind me about this post and comment l in 6 months.
Just look back to the Winter of 2015, the T was in similarly terrible shape and never really has returned to full, reliable service.
