Lol okay PS fanboy let's give both sides of the story. Controller sure PS5 is more next gen but I find the Xbox to be more comfortable and the sticks better.

Exclusives yes PS is winning big time. But I'm more excited about the games coming from all the studios Microsoft bought like Starfield and Redfall, and if the Activision deal goes through things will really start turning before this generations over.

The Xbox comes with more storage out of the box. I personally will never need more storage, unless you're a gamer who keeps a lot of games saved. But sure expandable storage is more expensive for Xbox.

PS online is not cheaper, it's literally the same price as Xbox live or Game Pass. PS has quantity over quality. Sure there's more games but there's a TON of junk, crappy games you don't want anyways on there. Xbox gets more day 1 access and AAA's which is the real money saver.

Larger player base? Who cares, most games are cross platform and that's never once mattered to me.

The reality is both consoles this generation are impressive and fun to play so let's cut the childish console war debate.

Stick with PS5 if you want a better controller, exclusives, MORE games on the CHEAPER subscription service, cheaper and faster SSD upgrade options, a larger player base for online play...the list goes on.

Wait and see how the game runs on Switch. "Exclusive" quests to one platform in these situations aren't worth mentioning, when it's only on one platform they can't do anything that matters to the story anyway in "exclusive quests". I've played games on PS3 where things like "60 minutes exclusive gameplay only on PlayStation" was just a minor side mission outside of the main story. Not bad, but not worth buying a whole other console over.

bit of both for me. Love having the original game and original console, it hits a good spot. however emulation has its moments where games perform better emulated than on its original platform, its good for archival purposes as well as a lot of games have become incredibly difficult to find or cost a pretty penny (for example once sold my copy of Probotector (Sega Genesis) for almost triple its retail price).

Look at game pass. Do you want to play those games, or do you want PS exclusives? Easy as that.

Definitely playing games on the legit console is the overall better experience, but for like retro stuff like the NES or N64 I would prefer to emulate those just for convenience and there's not enough games I would play on those to warrant buying them.

For modern consoles I think the best excuse for emulation is if you cannot actually access the console/game you want to play, or if you're looking for a specific experience.

I have a high end gaming PC for modded single player games and PS5 for everything else. It's a great combo.

Like someone else mentioned, PC with game pass is great. There's really no reason to have an Xbox of you have a PC. The PS Plus subscription has as more games and the exclusives. Having both subscriptions is great.

I recommend you get a ps5 and then start saving for a PC. Once you get close enough, sell the Series X and get the PC.

It could, it couldn't.. maybe you can just wait for the game to come out. In this way you'll know if it will be worth it. Let's all remember the cyberpunk lesson about the meaning of the preorders

Depends on which console you're referring to. If it's retro, a Vita or another portable console with physical buttons is my choice. If it's a modern console, like the PS5, I'd just buy it instead of waiting years for an emulator to pop up.

Not if you only intend to play Hogwarts Legacy and that's it. But if you've been on the fence about buying one anyways, there are a lot of good exclusives for PS5, and Spider-Man 2 is coming out later this year. Also, a PlayStation exclusive Wolverine game is in development by the same people who make the Spider-Man PlayStation games. Its definitely worth it if you're wanting to play other games too.
