Dont. You should not buy a console for one game. If you worry about performance, think about getting an xbox series s. The game should run fine on there and with gamepass you maybe could also try out some other games for little money.

The exclusive quest on PlayStation may be only a time-exclusive thing (I really don’t know), so it will come to other consoles eventually.

Usually when I consider buying a new console, I write down a list of 10-15 games I would buy for it. This may help you decide if this is thr right call for you.

Well then go with PS5. When you're used to a certain tech, more than likely you'll just end up returning back to it sooner or later. At least in my limited experience. Get a PS5, and work towards either getting an Xbox or a gaming PC eventually if you're so inclined.

Played xbox just not as used to it as playstation

The prices of previous great PS5 games are dropping, so you'll have a lot to choose from at way below regular price. The Last of Us Remake will probably be $20 by the time you're done with Hogwarts. The Uncharted collection remake too. I think it's a good time to hop onto a next gen system

You weren't really clear on which console your friends play on.

Id say go with the PS5, disc edition if you can. Playstation has PS+, which I hear is a pretty decent service, while not quite on par with gamepass has its fair share of good games. Get a modded controller, or one that feels/looks similar to the PS4 controller. Also, I'm pretty sure PS4 controller works on PS5s. Or you could also just straight up get a modded controller that suits your needs. You seem to be leaning towards PS5 anyway, stick with that.

Get an Xbox Series X 😎 If you want a slightly less powerful Xbox and more affordable alternative to the Series X or PS5, get the Xbox Series S. It’s a great option for Game Pass too and a way to play games you can’t get on Switch. Best combo of consoles imo.

Being a playstation controller must be tough

The game will perform worlds better on PS5 over switch. I’m sure there are other games that will interest you. You should do it.
