I foolishly purchased it not realizing that physical copies were utterly useless. It is essentially just a disc with a download code. This is why Nintendo Switch is my main form of gaming, now.

If you want to just play your PC yes, I'm not sure why you bought it to begin with. But selling Series X for a loss before some of the biggest games of the generation is also a baffling move.

One thing a lot of people don't realise is that you can have 1gb internet and it'll be fine for streaming and movie downloads etc, BUT your download speed isn't just governed by your internet speed, it's also governed by the speed of the servers on the other end and their respective bandwidth, I have always ran my PC and consoles via wired connection which does help but even with that something's still take an age to download. I'm in the UK with Virgin running at 300mb/s

I’m in the uk and have 1gb virgin. My PS5 downloads about 140-160gb in an hour. What is your internet speed? How close or far are from the wifi if you’re not wired? What’s potentially blocking the signal strength?

My xbox series have always been a bit quicker that PlayStation as well.

Motion controls in games, kind of died out during the PS3/360/Wii era. Whatever is left of that, evolved into VR which can be expensive. But the best console to ever do motion controls was and still is the Nintendo Wii. You can find one used and in good condition for cheap as well as the games. So go for that.

I've got gig speed and the longest I've ever had to wait was 15 minutes for really big games. Most are 5 to 10 minutes.

Make sure you're hardwired and that you're not playing other games while downloading.
