I’m not young and I consider two years to be a long time to wait. Given the amount of work it takes, is it actually a long time? No. But I’m also not going to wait two years to play games I’m interested in when there’s something that can play them now.

PS5 is good especially if you have a TV that supports 4k or higher and hdmi 2.1 (maybe VRR) for smoother gameplay and make most out of PS5s power. It should last over 5 years and even if sony release ps6 it well know for them to keep older gen running for years to come. In term of durability of ps5 I dont know what a 5 year PS5 looks like so I couldnt guarantee that but so far it looks promising.

I got the PS5 for the reasons you said above and I went for it, ending up fall in love with the interface of PS as well as how rewarding trophies are. I would recommend getting one and it will last you long!

Just go for it. You have games listed that you want to play and 9/10 by the time these exclusives come to pc you will have lost interest in playing them anyway

I'm so glad I live in the UK, whilst everything else is crap here, at least I have unlimited internet via broadband for only £30 per month, at 150mbps. Not the fastest granted, but would easily do that 33GB update within an hour.

Sounds like you need decent internet. Don't sell your things, pay that extra 50 a month and go get you some good internet instead of getting rid of things. This whole post made me cringe

At least that is honest, about not being profitable. Fiber optic requires a bunch of very costly hardware at every ending. And there is no way to cut into the middle, at least without another costly bit of hardware. For less than a hundred clients that might not offset the cost for many years.

I actually live in Kentucky. Most of the county I live in is serviced by Fiber Optic services with AT&T and other ISPs, but for some reason, they say that it would not be profitable to deliver those same services on the road I live on. I'm less than one mile away from a fiber line but cannot use it.
