I’d go with the one s for the same reasons the other guy stated. if you’re super tech savvy I saw a video saying if you change the storage on a one x it’s actually a way better console than a series s and would still be cheaper.

There are a few specific apps that, until recently, were only accessible if you set up your console in dev mode. These are:

  • Retroarch (8-bit up to ~PSX)
  • XBSX2 (PS2)
  • Flycast (Dreamcast)
  • PPSSPP (Sony PSP)
  • Dolphin (Gamecube/Wii)

To access these (edit: in retail mode), you need to open you Xbox's Edge browser and navigate to this github repo, and from there access the discord server. Then it's just a matter of following the prompts and downloading this apps!

Check youtube for very detailed videos on how to actually set up these apps with BIOS files and ROMs once you've downloaded them.

You need to give us some more info about your situation or what you want or something. Otherwise you'll just end up with a console war debate and get nowhere. Your best bet is to use the search function for this exact question that's been asked a million times before.

Honestly the One S. The Series S has no disc drive which means you're physical 360 games will be unavailable to play without repurchase and you won't be able to buy cheap 2nd hand games.

Plus while the Series S lets you play newer stuff there's still so many games that the One S will give you, and you guys likely don't care about the newest and greatest if you've got a 360 nowadays as your current.

I am unfortunately in the U.S. And I need a small desk for a pc just for keyboard and mouse, tried using a wireless keyboard on a tray, not a me thing. Like I said as soon as I can, I will have a gaming pc with a proper setup, for now the consoles work just fine. there will get sold at some point i’m sure. Not in to much of a hurry, have a game library of close to 1500 games, can’t just up and ditch them since I can’t sell them

I know I read it, looked around ebay and other places, not finding your prices. Moot point though since I have no place to put a PC. I plan on having a gaming pc in maybe 5-6 years. Also, this is just me, buying a used console is one thing, a used pc in anyway is not happening.
