I want to make a hand held console

PlayStation is better. I've had people play my playstation who own a Xbox and they have told me they prefer the PlayStation

Do you want to HAVE a handheld console or to MAKE a handheld console? And do you want to remake PS2 for example or make an absolutely new one?

I'd say start with a raspberry pi kit to begin learning some of the low level basics.

There is kits for handheld raspberry pi consoles, try assembling one first and go from there.

Buy a PlayStation instead

Series X is cheaper in the long run and it's immediately better in every other category.

Right now, either upgrade will only increase the quality of the Xbox One library. There are only 3 current gen exclusive games available on the Series S/X. Everything else is playable on your Xbox One (with worse performance, obviously).

Both the S and X are great. Beware that the X has better graphics, more power, more storage and it can play discs.

Nope, it's a garbage modern console. The Series X smokes it in terms of graffics, but also important stuff like storage (the Series S only has 350GB of useable storage, VS. 810GB on the Series X, and any game optimised for the Series consoles - including older games like Forza Horizon 4 - have to be played from the SSD)

The xbox will keep games running in the background, you need to go into the games management and quit them. This is most likely to be the case with the PS5 as well (I don't have one). Make sure it's not starting up things YouTube and other media streaming apps as this will definitely affect the FL speeds

Get off the wifi and hardwire it. I've never taken more than 15 minutes to download a 100+ GB game.

What do you mean by standby. If you mean the switcher tab where you can close out of games then yes I’m completely out of the games

You don't even have to shut the console off, most of the time pausing and unpausing it will work

Have you completely closed down all games whilst downloading?
Keeping them in standby can have an effect on the download speed.

Just need to give it thorough cleaning. Google a video to show you how. Mine did it playing Ragnarok. Works fine now.

Modded skyrim

This can be a number of things. If it says it's overheating, it's likely either clogged with dust, the fan is not spinning, or both.

If it's not overheating, we've seen them with bad chips that just die.

Yeah that happened to me too and I was thinking maybe I'm paranoid. Similar problem is happening to me while installing games from disc; if I'm connected to internet copying process slows down by a lot but if I disconnect it copies the game in usual speeds.

When download slows I try to restart my PS5, delete the download and start again then it reaches normal speeds for a while then slows down.
