That's kind of my point though, it likely won't just be a more powerful version of their current hardware. They will probably want to do more to differentiate it from the Switch.

If they want to replicate the success they've had with the it they'll have to. A lot of Switch owners will take a bit of convincing to upgrade if it doesn't have something else to offer.

Nah the taxes on pc prices isnt that high. It basically is the same price as it's in US. But on consoles the taxes make them 2 times more expensive. There is a "luxury tax" in here and consoles are considered as "luxury items" pcs aren't lol

But surely the pc parts would be inflated if your country is selling a console for double the price? Wtf gives

In my country series x isn't 500 dollars but 1k dollars .So instead I built a 1k dollar pc that is equal (if not better) to series X

Local garage sales auctions and stuff like that isnt buying it for retail and selling it for 10x more because people have no way of sourcing another yes you're making profits but not in a bad way unlike what scalpers do they do make profits in a bad way

Depends on your prices, which you failed to mention. However if you’re actually getting them from auctions and garage sales, I’m guessing you’re NOT buying up new consoles and up-selling them to people who can’t find one normally. In that case, I’d say no, you’re just making smart investments.

200$ ?Damn. I'm so happy they sell for like 40$ in My region of the world. Very few inflated game prices here.

But it really depends if you're selling purely for collection purposes or you're selling simply to let another person of family have fun with an oldschool console.

Mind you I think festers quest is getting a little rare out there these days

Nintendo don't usually have the most powerful hardware but it's hardly a conservative approach to technology. They've pretty much always had an innovative piece of hardware on the market even if it doesn't always work out.

As much as I'd love the next gen of Nintendo hardware if it was just a more powerful switch it could very easily be something more inventive.

Only thing you can do is compare what they are going for online, then put it up for sale at the amount you want and see if anyone buys and if they don't then reduce the price.

Personally, if the most you'll get is 1-200 dollars I'd consider keeping it for nostalgia's sake unless you're really desperate for cash.

If the console is in good working order, they can go for 150-300$. It's really up to you how much you want for it, but for both controllers and all the cables, I think 200$ is pretty fair.

As for the games, it looks like you've got some original boxes for them? Do you still have the inserts too? If they're in good condition, that can up the price. So you might want to sell them separately. But generally, they can go from 10-50$. Typically 10$, but this very much depends on their condition.

OR, for something absolutely priceless, go out and buy yourself an old tube TV and set up a little nostalgic gaming corner in your home!

People like to smack talk the Wii U but I loved that console solely because it was the first Nintendo console that supported High Definition. I lived with the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 for years but Nintendo never had HDMI support until the Wii U came out.

When I first bought it and played Super Mario 3D World, it blew my mind and I was hooked. I still have my console and had to do some internal repairs but I got it back running again. Just recently bought Twilight Princess in HD ($90 from Vintage Stock, it’s like GameStop)
