I actually preferred the toys, like some figures were OK, some were boring and just collectible and you couldn´t play with those.

Now I know it’s about basketball… I still have no idea what a sweet 16 men’s seed is

Thank you for this. I was unaware of the event and it passes right over my house!

Great work with the animation. But if it doesn't add any information, it should be left out. Unless of course it fits into some larger presentation that has a certain style.

Looks like heavier is more likely to contain a figure. Could do a simple line graph of the percentage with figure (y) against the weight (x).

Agreed. I feel like the chart needs a thin vertical element and stacked seed would work. I like the basketball as the total marker.

Don't come to Erie Pa, it's going to be cloudy that day, I guarantee it.

Looks like the shortest drive for me (near Birmingham, AL) is to Hardy/Highland, AR.
Hmm... I might just be crazy enough to do it. I missed the 2017 one by more than 200 miles, as I was trying my damnedest to get back to Nashville in enough time, but it took a bit too long for my load to be ready.

That's cool.
I just wish box and whisker plots were more intuitive. They look like the groups are the same, but they might not be? Is there a better way to visualize this?

My house is almost slap in the middle of the totality line. I can't wait! Please excuse me if I used the wrong terminology.

I think a big oversight is Canadians? Toronto and Montreal are a short drive from totality. That will greatly inflate the north-east portions.

It's either "plastic junk" or a "cool" collectable figure, which is usually part of a figure series! Some of the figures are collector's items and can be quite valuable (see e.g. https://www.eierlei-shop.de/ (in German)).
