I think the out come of the Ukraine war is that Russia will be come a satellite state for China in much the same way Russia wants the former soviet states to be satellite states for itself.

Ironic.

Get ready for Chinese military assets in western Russia!

When we think of internet search, we think of Google. And for a good reason.

Acc. to StatCounter, almost 93% of all search queries across platforms (e.g. desktop, mobile, console) is through Google.

As seen in the chart above, Microsoft Bing’s market share is a measly 3% and hasn’t really moved much in the last 10 years.

However, Search Advertising is a very lucrative business. A small market share point can mean a lot in revenue.

In spite of being a “forgotten” name in Search, Bing still generated est. $11.7 billion of revenue in 2022.

This is larger than entire social media companies like Twitter and Snapchat and very similar to the fast growing TikTok. Remember - these social media companies have hundreds of millions of engaged users who log in every day.

Data representation always comes with pros and cons, it's rarely perfect.

I think its fair as a simple respresentation to show their assets and compare them to Swiss GPD since the Swiss government may eventually play a role through a bailout, and I believe that's what OP is implying. Obviously you can and should do deeper analysis, like cross-country comparisons and so on, but hey, this is r/dataisbeatiful not "thisismyPHDthesis".

They aren't. I've never met or heard of a single individual who either only backs the favourite, or backs multiple selections in each race based solely on price.

In conclusion: you're as clueless as the OP. Most random punters will have a look at form, names, trainers or jockeys. There is no-one who is purely looking at the prices like this data does.
