Apple saying Dark Sky was integrated into the iOS weather app is like saying a brick thrown into the side of my pc is “integrated”.

https://www.tomorrow.io/ ? (Not an app or consumer service by the look of it)
Tmrw.io is something else...

Why tf would you get down voted for this? Lol. I’m literally scrolling the comments looking for weather app recommendations. Thank you!

Reply to You've seen maps of watersheds, here's a drive shed map. Imagine someone going to see the 2024 total solar eclipse. What's the shortest drive there? So do I, I have been waiting on it... Well since the last one, but I am definitely taking the day off for this one.

Windy is amazing, but I see them as two separate uses. Windy gives you data. A shit ton of data. It’s great for weather nerds and those that rely on accurate weather data. Windy was incredibly valuable to me navigating the Great Lakes and the Atlantic Coast. The wave height and wind visualization is outstanding.
Dark sky is better for the consumer though IMO. It just did a better job of answering the question: do I need an umbrella at this location at this time?

Carrot is good but the childish swearing that they think is humorous just prevents me from buying it. Let the teenagers giggle at it … Chuckleheads.

Thank you. I was like, I know I’m stoopid - but that legend doesn’t define colors shown.

It is a much smaller market, because the users of browsers and search engines are much fewer.

Went to school with a guy who did that for a bit. He ended up quitting because the job it was so repetitive, and seemed genuinely surprised by the fact.

This is what I switched to as well. You can still use dark sky as a data source, but by no means does it replace the stand alone app. It was the best and most accurate weather app I’ve come across in over a decade of trying out damn near all of them.
