Fair enough but from what I understand The whole point of all the damn structures you built was to help Control the water and mediate the highs and lows. So at least you have that I guess?

That’s crazy expensive. I picked up a 2500 sq ft house with a double attached garage for 425k Canadian. It’s in a small city of 300k so not as many amenities as Berlin granted.

What are you talking about, this data shows that the sweet spot is between 6'2" and 6'6" so it seems like height is VERY correlated...

While I agree that many don’t see this as a solve, in speaking to my friends that still live in California, 3/6 definitely think that the drought is solved.
Of those 3, 2 are basically totally uninformed about climate change and uninterested in the subject. The other is liberal and understands climate change but is convinced the drought is done and it’s all good from here.
All 3 just keep bringing up how there’s 60ft of snow in the mountains and it’s basically been raining non-stop for 3 months.
I’m probably more pessimistic than they are, but this feels like an extreme weather event (albeit in the other direction from the drought, which was also extreme) and that CA will swing between the two extremes increasingly as time goes on.
But I just wanted to chime in that my anecdotal experience of Californians not being so dumb as to think water issues are over- I think there’s a larger group than you want to admit that truly does.

Price probably falls off faster than inverse square. The available space grows quadratically, but as you get further you lose more prestige, proximity with important landmarks etc.

Welcome to Europe! It's not NA. These would cost you at least 500K Euros in any big German city.

Anything on the internet has a global audience. MMDDYY goes from the middle value to the smallest then back to the biggest so when it is clearly illogical and also used by a minority of the world it’s going to get questioned.

But he’s a tight end. I don’t care how “hard it is to call him one”. He’s a gadget player, his team lists him as a tight end, your link lists him as a tight end, pro football reference lists him as a tight end in 2022. Gadget players aren’t starting quarterbacks. I watch football, I write about football, I analyze football. I don’t understand why you dismiss everything I say, especially considering you’ve never attempted to engage with football content before, which is evident in all of your comments as well as what other people have said to you.
Less doubling down and more listening will get you much further.

Hey, I'm from Paris.
>I’m guessing apartments in Paris are mostly small to tiny.
objectively speaking (and relative to other cities in the world), I think you can say that. I'll speak for central Paris, since that's where I and most of my friends so far have lived.
Studios go from 8m² to 20m², the majority being between 8-15m², mostly inhabited by students or young professionals. It might sound crazy, but within that category a big number of studios are in the 8-10m² and are still in high demand: usually they have a bed, a tiny sink, hot plate and shower, and the toilet is outside and shared; we still call them "maiden rooms", as they used to have that purpose back then, and they're usually on the last floor of a typical parisian ("Haussmanien") building.
I'd say 1-bedroom apartments usually range from 20m² to 30m² - from that surface upwards, the vast majority have their own bathroom - , and 2-bedroom apartments (maybe the most common type, I'm not sure) anywhere from 30m² to 70-80m². I've lived with my parents in a 45m² 2-bedroom apartment my entire life so far and I'm moving out soon (guess why... lol); the kitchen and bathroom are not counted as rooms, only bedrooms and living rooms are. Currently, 45m² 2-bdrm flats can cost from €400k to €600k in central Paris, maybe even €700k in the most expensive areas, it's completely fucking nuts. 3 adults can barely live together in such a small surface.

No issues switching cities. Just noticed Carrot no longer is using DS data. Radar does seem hit or miss though. Better than nothing.
