I wonder how it compares to Portugal directly below? Is this a Portugaliza thing or is Portugal just as sparse as Spain but Galicia is better than both?

Probably more cost of living than anything else. I’m comfortably upper middle class in the Midwest but my same salary would put me at or below the poverty line in NYC, DC, or San Fran. Which this measure accounts for

And the reason why everything costs 30% more? The cost of running a business (labor, goods, transportation, etc.) has increased by that much and more.

If the plumber’s employer has to pay 20% more to retain the plumber the added cost would just passed onto the customers. Enjoy 20% more for your needs - now extrapolate that to all your other goods and services you need to survive. Good luck playing this dumb game.

This seems to be a relatively new thing for PMs. I’m in a job search now and it’s literally taken me 2 months to get to an offer with 2 orgs. I’m not sure I want the one job and the other has gone quiet so I’m terrified that I have to start over.
Just a few years ago this process took weeks not months. I don’t know why but this seems to be the new norm.

Good thing there aren't more Ted Bundy's out there. People's interpretation of others can be so wrong. They didn't catch it the first time but NOW you can trust the women's "instincts" about someone? When you have women out there that consider mustaches "rapey" , I think maybe you need to just incorporate some social behavior hypotheticals into your interview questionnaire.

I also feel like it's a tactic for interviewers/manageras to appear like they're doing their job because they actually don't have jackshit to do and they're bullshitting and pretending to be busy because if they weren't 'busy' their bosses would catch on.
