Would such modulation techniques actually work? I’m mean EM waves aren’t exactly a 1:1 match to sound waves and the former doesn’t use a transport medium. I admit this isn’t my field but you have made me curious.

No but that would be such a neat idea :]

Cramps is what happens when cells that line the uterus (endometrial cells) break down. This processes releases chemicals (prostaglandins) that cause the muscles and blood vessels in the uterus to contract.

Im not a game developer. But knowing a bit about coding. I think the most reasonable thing is that the asset for armor probably just scales directly vertically with height and horizontally in both directions with fat/muscle/mass.

Im sure it just rerenders the model with different dimensions. It probably has base dimensions, and then they are probably multiplied by character height and mass to scale it up or down.

You're still thinking of space as if it's some material existing within space, but that's a fundamental error. Space isn't occupying space, and it's not at a location within itself or anything else. Space is what matter & energy occupies, and what separates locations & events via both distance & time.

> What is there before space is there?

Space isn't "here or "there." Space defines "here" & "there." If there's no space, there is no "there," full stop.

Imagine you made a bunch of dots on a person, all over their body, and you assigned each dot a number. Then you did the same thing to a set of armour. You put the armor on the regular sized person so all the numbered dots on both the person and the armour lined up. Then you could make a person bigger or smaller, but the dots would remain in the same relative locations, by effect shrinking and growing the armour. Sometimes, an artist would review how the armour grew and shrunk, and make small custom adjustments to make sure it looked good.

This was basically how it was done in the late 90s and early 2000s when mmorpgs were just starting to come into their own. Theres more complicated methods that have been added onto this basic method to make armour look even better and change shapes even more, but that's far beyond the scope of this sub.

Yes, but not at the range of thousands of miles. You can use large (3-4 meter wide) parabolic dishes to focus the sound waves to a point. They're called Acoustic Mirrors they had a range of about 35 kilometers. You can also buy a parabolic microphone, those can pick up sounds up to 2.5 kilometers away.

> To get a single-cell battery

Strictly speaking, a "single-cell battery" is an oxymoron. The word "battery" means a group of things working together so, while a 9V battery is a battery of six cells, a AA is one (electrolytic) cell and not a battery.

The word originally comes from batteries of guns which were used to batter down fortifications.

It means a group of people called a grand jury have seen enough evidence presented by prosecutors that they think the person being investigated should be tried for crimes.

That’s it. Not that anyone is guilty or innocent. Just that there should be a trial, because there’s enough evidence to hold one.
