I highly doubt that Trump will be required to surrender his passport or that his planes will be grounded.

As a former president of the United States, he will, in my opinion, most likely be released on his own recognizance and not even have to post bail.

You ever zapped yourself on the finger after shuffling around and then touching something metal?

Lightning is basically that except the clouds are your finger and the piece of metal is the earth. One side has built up a charge of electrons that wants to equalize and move out, and when it finds a way to travel and escape, it takes it.

Thunder is caused because lightning heats the air around it to fives times hotter than the surface of the sun in a fraction of a second. Air expands when its heated, so thunder is basically the air violently exploding outwards.

I was not scientifically labelling space as nothing, only explaining why it is hard to think about space, which has no mass or energy by itself, expanding.

I then elaborated on why I called it nothing. Mentioning that, by itself, it does not have anything, and space itself is the deepest form of absence of things possible and therefore the most nothing thing to exist. If you open an empty box, it still has air, maybe a wave, some form of energy, radiation, etc. These are all things that occupy space, not inherently needed for space to come to be. If inside the box there were empty space, just space with none of those things, then you could truthfully say there is nothing in the box.

It is like saying humans are a smart ape and you going "scientists have a specific name for humans you are wrong"

Also, a single alkaline battery at 3v, if in the same form factor as a AA batter would have double the voltage, but half the capacity. You’d still want two batteries.

Essentially, 1.5v is a legacy voltage that we keep. Higher voltage, assuming same chemistry, would be at the expense of capacity, assuming the form factor stays the same.

Or simply put, watt-hours would be the same regardless.

It means chargesheeted...the trial can commence. because its already presented before a grand jury who have reviewed the evidence and come to an unanimous conclusion that there is enough wrongdoing for a case , chances of a conviction are very high. The only thing left is the opportunity to rebut the evidence presented so far by the defence team.in the usa trials proceed quickly..like 2-3 months max, so that you can't postpone the inevitable like in india, trial court judgement has power, unlike india where it's lots easier to appeal in High court and delay going to jail

The same point of having any contract. You can't write into a contract terms that are illegal and have it be enforceable. A car dealership can't put into a contract they will break your kneecaps if you miss payments, but they can put into a contract if you miss x amount of payments they can repossess the car. The point of having an NDA is so that you don't spill company secrets after you leave a company. e.g. if you work for Coke and know the formula, you can't sell it to Pepsi after you quit.

While true it's also fleetingly rare for a grand jury indictment not to lead to a conviction. Federal Grand juries have a conviction rate of over 99%.

Edit: I was mistaken. Grand juries almost always indict, but conviction rates seem pretty hard to track down if anyone knows what the conviction rate is, please elucidate the rest of us.

Imagine all the whole numbers from 0 to 10. Now imagine imagine every half number in that span. Keep adding the set of numbers between the numbers you already have. The size of your set is expanding, but the bounds of the set itself need not expand. You can imagine a similar concept to an infinite set of numbers, and thus you can imagine the universe expands in a similar fashion.

It is though, there isn't anything else that is less something than the void of space. It is not mass, just reality itself.

It is the most nothing thing there is.

It just happens that even the most nothing thing there is has some interesting properties, and since time and space are two parts of the same (time is also a nothing as it is part of the nothing) it just shapes reality in an interesting way. (Mass bends space, time existing thorugh bent space gives us gravity)
