ah so we agree that the tax abatements being handed out like candy by the city at the time were completely unnecessary?

If only Fulop had known ahead of time that trying to make JC enticing to transplants was going to create an alleged housing shortage that could only be solved by building more luxury rentals with insane rent increases every year.

I’m sure he had no idea 🥹…but I’m sure he’s pleased with his multiple home renovations by Dixon.

Awww I actually like her though. Told she should run and just chuckled at my comment. More than likely she probably peeped something she didn't like and backed out before it got messy. Or we're overthinking it 🤷🏿‍♂️

What value does this account add to the community other than advertising businesses, which it could be getting compensation for?

What role does it play in farmers markets? Are they a vendor?

Are they a council member? Someone that pushes their opinions on others, expecting for all to agree, and go above and beyond to oppose those who disagree?

I used to follow this person a couple years ago and she's definitely made posts like this before "I need to step away for my own mental health" type posting. I'm paraphrasing here, but I eventually unfollowed because I just like finding out about new restaurants, I don't need influencer existential dread along with it.

where in queens are you? what are you looking for in a new location? i made the move from queens to jc after 10 years in sunnyside and astoria and while i don’t regret it, i can tell you jc is very different from queens.

do you need to commute into the city? do you want nightlife? diversity of restaurants and bars? would you prefer to be near a park? is a single family house a must have or are you ok with an apartment in a condo building?

They’ve been trying to make JSQ nicer for years and it’s still far from it. I’d look somewhere else. Downtown is the nicest but way over priced. Then you have the heights which is quieter but not great if you want night life close by. Then if you want to go a bit further I guess you have Bayonne and union city.

Also jersey city has been increasing taxes pretty quickly so I’d look at that also.
