Agreed with this! Skinner's has been a neighborhood staple for years. It's a classic restaurant. The negative comment below seems to be more interested in trendy places. I didn't suggest it because I don't really view it as a date spot per se but I enjoy it every time I go and I personally view it as a nice alternate to all of the new trendy stuff around it. If going for a first date, I would recommend sitting on the rooftop if it's nice enough and they've opened it for the season. It's gorgeous.

Most likely scam. Do reverse image search of the apartment photos that were posted. You might find where those photos were taken from. Also you can ask for the address of the management company and just go there.

The square is under developed. It’s home to a busy commmnity college so you will see a lot of young people during the day making it there classes as the campus is spread out through journal square. It’s a business area too, a lot of different offices and also elementary schools. It’s one of the busiest places in jersey city, almost like the middle hub, most people pass thru it on their daily commutes. Never gonna have any issues with transportation everything runs through there and u can take the immy busses into Manhattan. Overall it’s not the best place to live sight wise but it’ll change in a few years when all the construction is over and they kicked out the homeless and lower income families so that other more wealthy and privileged people can move in and the property values go up so everyone else can’t afford to live where their parents raised their family anymore
