Got it, thank you. Yeah I already got a “warning” because I included a pizza box with my cardboard on recycling day…. apparently they aren’t recyclable because of the grease/food remnants. Definitely don’t want an actual fine.

Lincoln Park by the fountain can be quite nice.
I’d also walk around the alleyway behind JC ECO cleaners as there are a ton of murals there as well.

I don't buy this. If PATH was owned by NJ Transit (or preferably an organization specific to Hudson and Essex County), there would actually be a way for the mayors of Jersey City, Newark, etc, as wll as as the taxpayers to seriously petition for change. Pressure to state officials would be much more realized. At the moment because PATH is also co-operated by New York, it has even more more reason to neglect the rails. Having it wholly managed by New Jersey would mean that when constituents want something, there's an actual chance (even if small) of it happening.
At the moment literally nobody but the governor can influence PATH and that's a problem.

I can’t tell if you think being nicer and more desirable is a good or bad thing?
Regardless of whether you’re being sarcastic, it is asinine how many JC posters think JC getting nicer and more desirable is a bad thing. It should be the paramount goal of any city to get nicer and more desirable.

In Hoboken, if the building is older than 30 yrs old, its subject to rent control. The increase is indexed to the CPI rate/inflation from 3 months prior to the end of a lease. Assuming there wasn't some type of exemption filed & approved by town hall.

The public should be replacing an agency that isn't performing. So if, for example, the PA won't do anything to help expand PATH, then the NJ governor should work to dissolve the organization and replace it with a new one, a new one that has accountability.
It's like complaining that your grocer always has spoiled meat. You use a different grocer.
We should be killing organizations that won't do their job. Unfortunately, we will just keep having our elected officials take kickbacks and do nothing.

You have to hire a carting company to have it done professionally. Small jobs can just be put in the kitchen garbage

PATH is way better in the hands of the port authority compared to NJT

Point I’m getting at for modern apartment layouts (2 bed, 2 bath, open kitchen, washer + dryer, amenity building), JC is still far cheaper.
If the layout and features don’t matter as much, you could probably find something cheaper but not comparable in NYC. Thing is lots of the far away points in Brooklyn and upper Manhattan are further away from downtown JC

At the very least she does seem highly insecure -- in all seriousness, possibly family-related and now drug-exacerbated. (I know I'm speculating.)
...The truth about a person tends to leave room for sympathy. But right now, all I can think about is her dodging responsibility for a felony and giving the public the middle finger. I wonder if we'll ever truly know why.
