How about the movie theatre and that monstrosity that they built there that seems to be sitting idle. I read someplace that they are just abandoning projects like this because of there financial stuff

There are those that believe in being accountable for their own feelings and actions...and there are those like you who choose to be a victim angry and sad . I choose to feel sorry for you and those like you. But I also choose to do nothing for you. Enjoy that uncomfortable seat you sit in.

None of that matters in this case - you're using resources by browsing reddit which reddit pays Amazon for. Reddit hypothetically is losing money here, not amazon, they get paid for providing the resources no matter what.

They likely just re-sold your roof job to their subcontractors who do the roofing for bottom dollar prices with slave like labor. The financing is just a company called Hearth of similar that allows contractors to offer financing on their jobs to homeowners. You could have gotten financing from a credit union or something. The warranty is something they can weasel out of if they want.

Any company that says 'We have done 10,000 roofs in MA' means they just re-sell your job to smaller roofers as subcontractors who you could just hire yourself. So find a small roofing company that doesn't re-sell the job to subcontractors.

Going to pile in with either Umass or any state university like Westfield State. Both my parents were maintainers there because they didn't know a trade, pay was only like $35,000 but the benefits are so good. My dad retired from there and has no regrets with his 80% pay each month.
