Northeastern Vermont through northern New Hampshire through northwest Maine would be virtually nothing

Yeah, we're super liberal... Unless it involves business, taxes, employee protections...

Something that does not nearly get the attention and praise it deserves. What an outstanding accomplishment 👏

Massachusetts "liberals" are funny.
They claim to be "liberal" but only when it suits them...then they go full Republican.

For it. I was against it for a long time. Now I can't believe I was. My loved one has ALS. They're surviving for now, but this disease will eventually strip them of everything. Try living with that and seeing that every single day.

Yeah, I saw what a mess the unemployment system is, there's no way there won't be collateral damage. Plus, didn't we just have a big tax surplus? Why is it so important that we snatch this money back?

According to the Patriot Ledger from Oct 7, 1976, p. 17, the Town Counsel discovered that self-service station owners were planning to throw out the repair side of gas stations turning them into "back-door monopolies" on the part of the oil companies. This would deny gas station lessors of repair income. So the town decided to use zoning to prevent self-service gas stations. I am assuming this is the rule to this day.

Don't do it! There has been talk for years about moving rattlesnakes onto one of the islands.

I would recommending reading the recent SJC decision Kligler v. Attorney General, 491 Mass. 38 (2022) for a good legal discussion on the issue http://masscases.com/cases/sjc/491/491mass38.html
