Websites where you go shop for glasses should have built in blur compensation so you can choose your Rx from a dropdown and the site blurs itself in just such a way that it looks perfect for you. Sort of like noise cancelling headphones.

This is a perfect opportunity for both a learning lesson from the company to offer an easier to read option of their website and market that. Secondly, sign this guy as your ambassador and use his mistake to sell glasses, “Don’t be me..”

The building's near-emptiness and the need for $100 million in renovations are the only things that surprise me. So, for the time being, it's essentially just a massive Instagram background? without any better comparison.

Wow. I read the article expecting to find that DUMY was a test object setup by developers and QA people to test the system while being developed… and then end users found it and started using it to suff away work.
Instead it turns out that the end users demanded the DUMY object be created so they could use it… and someone approved this.

For American readers.
Police had a (fake) unit on duty, called sign DUMY.
They were not using a fake dispatch system.
Calls would be assigned to Dumy, and often not handled at all.

It's good to have goals, but I think you may want to reconsider.
