glad to hear. I'll be there in a couple months or so. Just tying up loose ends here and then I'm out. IDK how long ago you were in Orlando but my goodness... this place absolutely SUCKS out loud now. I first moved here back in 2003 (I've bounced around quite a bit admittedly...) and it was nice then. I'd say around 5-7 years ago was when it started to get noticeably shitty, to me atleast. Now... now it's just a ticking time bomb. I'm not even kidding. I want to live a simpler life. Go hunting, fishing, own some land, that sort of thing. I miss the change of seasons.

Florida is fascinating to people who have maybe lived up north their entire lives. As in... they were born and raised up north (or somewhere where it snows). Even then I bet a majority of those people are going to get burnt out on FL in 3-5 years. Some will have the means to move back to their home states or somewhere like the Carolinas, others (the unfortunate ones) will be stuck here in the rat race because of student debt or just debt/low funds and work for Disney or the other theme parks for years to come.

I used to love FL. I mean I was born here... it looks good on the surface. But once you start seeing everything underneath that.. Sorry. Rant over. lol...

Guns have been around since the beginning of this country. Guns are not the problem, and taking guns away, is not only not the solution, it is not possible.
You want to "Do Something!"? Get your kids off of TikTok and whatever other toxic social media they are using this week, and get them onto a ball field, or a hiking trail. Get them mental health help if they need it, and they probably do after the last 3 years. Stop encouraging more division (like you literally did in your comment) by blaming "one half of this country" for a problem.

We don't have a gun problem, we have a society problem.

I have some friends that recently purchased a new Trendsetter home. It’s been a nightmare for them. Leaking doors, leaking sewage lift, incorrectly installed windows, and their neighbors have the same or worse issues. Then it takes them weeks to get someone out to fix it and they have to call Trendsetter every day and push them to fix it.

I am watching the Oller homes go up on the daily, they are slapped together really quickly and I’d have concerns with consistent quality. They had their subs working in some truly awful weather.

I can’t help but look at the costs of new builds in the area ($200+ a square foot) and wonder who is buying these spec homes at that price.

Thete are 435 comgressional districts across the US; 222 are Republicans. I'm not sure who specifically you're referring to, but of want to count even 4 as antisemitism, thats less than 2%, hardly a "norm".

If you would consider that the norm of the republican party, you must too consider antisemitism and violence the norm of the left.

But you and i both know It isn't.

As much as the media and many politicians want us to paint each other as the irrational enemy, that just isn't true.
