This is very literally the only purpose a for-profit corporation can have - it’s not like some cool cynical take. It’s still fine to praise positive actions as earned media will create a demonstrable value for other businesses.

This is like being upset because you found out you computer isn’t genuinely nice.

Ah yes, SpaceX Suborbital flights for commercial, paying customers. Just ignore the fact you can't have them anywhere near cities (for the same reason why we don't put rocket launchpads near cities), and training every paying customer to be accustomed to suborbital flights. Honestly, I don't see this new Swiss jet working either, especially because the OG hypersonic jet, Concorde, got canned partially due to noise complaints and how many people didn't go on Concorde (costs), leading to higher ticket prices, leading to less people going on Concorde... you get the idea.

This is NO exaggeration. You can build a lot of things in a garage, or a million dollar factory. Chips can't be built in a BILLION dollar factory.

> Hasn't the USA had some large profile power failures in the not to distant past? You'd be screaming at the moon as a fab if you suffered a shutdown caused by inadequate infrastructure outside your plant.

No country has 100% uptime. Like hospitals, you have batteries and generators onsite capable of picking up the load without interruption.

> China is also trying to get at the high end of chips, and they earmarked over $140 billion USD,

If they've done this, this will almost surely be enough to get them to the forefront.

Microsoft would have been so much better off opening up Teams features to the public rather than locking it down for additional price tiers.

If they made Teams the standard messaging, calling and calendar app people would be pushing their workplaces other paid Microsoft products that integrate with it and expand functionality. Instead they've made Teams an only for work app and made it so even if people wanted to use it for home use the home app doesn't provide the same functionality that the business app provides.

Ooooh. Weaponizing mental health to win an online argument. Really not a whole lot lower you can go as a person. Hell, I find it distasteful, and if it's making me feel a bit icky, I can imagine how strongly that's gonna make others feel.

Be better. For real, man.
