I think semantic wires are getting crossed here. I don't think the question means to detach agency or responsibility. "Has Tik-Tok contributed to us being better?" is perhaps clearer wording.

Or maybe I'm just projecting reason where it doesn't exist. I have no intention of reading that Vox article.

Being a giant logistics company means you need a very large inventory management system and an even larger POS website. They got tired of capacity planning meetings for data center infrastructure, and needed to find something to do with spare capacity that they needed two years from now, but would take 3 years to grow into.

Hence computer rentals on the Internet were born.

Futuristic-looking , but impractical design.

Looks like there are too many blind spots, even with sensors. If it has a rear window, visibility by the driver will be nil and car will need an always on rear-facing camera.

Auto insurance for it could be sky high. If it’s too costly to repair, expect insurers to total the car, even for minor accidents, as I’ve read about the Tesla Y.

There's so much bad UI stuff in Teams that it's hard for me to pick just one as the 'worst'.

My least favorite is not being able to custom sort 'Contacts', it's always alphabetic, so I end up having to name groups with a numerical prefix "01 my team" "02 core infra" etc. so that my group is at the top, followed by the groups I interact with the most.

you’re probably trolling but there certainly is a search function and it’s not hard to find. also as you “like” videos and engage with them those kinds of videos will find their way to your for you page over time, so whatever you had on your feed at first was just random. you can also just follow accounts you like and stick to your following tab

Warlizard? He's an ancient redditor. Circa 2010ish, some dude decided to target him for a trolling campaign, then proceeded to follow Warlizard around the website for months, using various throwaways to repeatedly ask him if he was from the (nonexistent) Warlizard gaming forum.

Then once the joke got revealed, it spread around the rest of reddit, and it became a tradition to ask him about the Warlizard gaming forum whenever he pops up.

I miss the dumb shenanigans of old reddit, lol.

It depends. My “for you” page on TikTok is mostly hilarious stuff. I just laugh so much with tiktok, so I love it. But I also think I have a good balance: I work out, have a good job, I’m studying, good group of friends, an awesome partner, etc. If TikTok is all you do, you better diversify your time. But that’s basically the same for any other acticity. Video games, for example, can also be a good or bad activity: many invest way too much time on them and neglect their responsibilities, but some play games while still having wholesome lives.
