That is always the sad part of losing a creative mind from your childhood before getting to; I guess you could say, "re-realize" it at an older age with the same creativity in mind.
Your grief mixes with your nostalgia and it sometimes leads to disappointment due to greedy folks.

Mini heart attack, thought he finally drove himself off a cliff with the mind controlled car or something. Or gave himself a heart attack with all the TENS machines he messes with. Or with the tazers. Or the electrified floor... He does a lot of legitimately dangerous and reckless things lol, I think if it was another creator, I wouldn't be so quick to believe they died out of the blue

Its just like the og show then.

Something about Gen Q didn't click. The OG L Word was never exactly Shakespeare but there was a blackly comic wit in it not unlike OITNB that kind of carried it, and this just didn't have that.

I wanted to love season 4, but the 1st half was a slog to sit through. Joe just kept falling into these situations that felt dumb and I lost interest in all of the other characters. Part 2 didn't start great and so far isn't getting better as I go.

Reply to so... will there be a Black Sails: Treasure Island with Luke Arnold reprising as Long John Silver? (aka: Nautical Breaking Bad) by hocumflute
No. The showrunners/creators have moved on to other things (The Old Man, Percy Jackson and the Olympians) and if Steinberg & Levine ain't doing it, I'm not interested.

I vote for all new charactes, except that Ghost Dana is part of the main cast.

Greg Weisman is currently writing a Gargoyles comic for Dynamite Comics. Issue #3 just came out a couple weeks ago, so it'll be fairly easy to catch up.

Glad this thread exists because I was searching for this exact answer. I did actually see an commercial for it between movies on HBO yesterday, but I didn’t catch if it had a date

THANK GOD!!!! It was so bad. Can’t believe no one has been able to recreate a show quite like The L Word. Gen Q went overboard with too many story lines and a lack of depth. It felt like a tick the box exercise with “how many LGBTQ….. letters can we shove in one scene?”

I'm a teenager and I don't think any of my friends have heard about this show. Usually the shows getting cancelled without warning like this aren't that popular

Same. I watched the original L Word and I’ve never heard of this show.

It was on the front page of Bonkle Plus for weeks. How could you miss it?

It really suffered from the lack of John De Lancie.

I think the Teddy Perkins episode in season two is where they realized they could bust things open.

So good. Lost fans boycotted it because they didn’t know what a midseason break was.

Reply to Kiefer Sutherland leads Rabbit Hole, a ludicrous yet amusing thriller by Dregenfox
I like Kiefer and hope it will be successful. He is actually kinda responsible for my first girlfriend. There was axe commercial where he regrets not having guts to come to a girl, while in school, and he would've act differently if he had a chance. I decided to took it. Bittersweet now, but no regrets.
