I can't get into this show. Opening song is a banger, though.

Been watching Chainsaw Man, which kinda has a similar premise and it's so much more enjoyable to me. I can't explain why, but the cinematography and aesthetic is top tier, and I feel more emotion for the characters. Apparently it's more popular with the western audience than Asia due to the subdued colors and toned down expressions from the manga

They're certainly much more vibrantly colored, which I have to assume is a deliberate design choice. If the new characters are clones that were created in the past ~15 years, it makes sense that they would have a different fashion style than the clones who were around in the early 2000s. Them having a new batch and old batch of clones together could definitely make for some interesting storylines if that's the route they're going.

We appear to have pretty similar humour. In no particular order, my favourite comedies rhat havent already been mentioned are its always sunny, peep show, people just do nothing, better off ted, catastrophe, curb your enthusiasm, the inbetweeners, the league, legit, who is america.

Some of these are similar to the shiws you e mentioned, some are not, but I rate all of them.

Also none of them are new but unlikely youve seen em all….

I think that's kind of the point. He omits A LOT from the story he's telling and sometimes even calls attention to it. There was one episode where they were trying to quit smoking where he goes "yeah none of us quit until events that are around the final season" but he never mentions they were smoking in any episode before or since despite always hanging out in a bar.
