Honestly, this is a very good thing, and we don’t see good traffic/car decisions often! This will MASSIVELY reduce congestion on M and hopefully let cars flow through there easier.

I have no visual impairments and I find the lighting at the U St vida to be really difficult as well.

I'm a straight guy who goes to VIDA on U st. There's definitely a large number of gay men at VIDA. Small portion of straight men. Pretty sizeable portion of women as well though.

I'm sorry that happened to you! The National Cherry Blossom Festival is one of the BIG events in DC. They are recommending if you MUST drive, using spot hero to reserve a parking space. Metro is definitely the best option though! Next time you come into DC on a busy day, avoid driving if at all possible 🙂 Coming up, April 15 will be another crazy traffic day due to the parade

So bizarre to me. Now I was raised in DC, so maybe I'm just jaded, but man the cherry blossom get love like I didn't even know. Do people actually love the plant? Is it the history? Or is it just the temporal nature of a thing? Like calling "first" on a message board.

I know I sound like I don't care for the blossoms, I do - my mother use'ta love them, tried to see them every year, it made her happy. I'm glad everyone is enjoying them too. It'd make mom happy that you all are.
